Joshua Prison Reform Committee

Priorities:
Brown County will increase access to mental health services for all populations in the county by identifying gaps and disparities and creating a common platform that mental health providers, partner agencies and stakeholders can access.

This Mental Health education and advocacy is conducted in congregations and community organizations, time with elected officials and public events.

Current Strategies:
Our most specific work this past year has been regarding ending abuses in Solitary Confinement and with the Ban the Box Campaign (fair hiring practices for those formerly incarcerated).

Meeting Schedule:
The group meets the 4th Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the West Side Moravian Church.
